How to apply. As soon as you have an offer to study at The University of Manchester, you can apply for accommodation using our online application form. Register for an account using your University ID number (found on your offer letter) and a valid email address.
As an international student coming to Manchester for the first time, you’ll benefit from the opportunity to live and study alongside British students, in a safe and welcoming environment. With over 8,000 rooms in 19 halls, we offer a variety of types, costs and locations.
Bedrooms and bathrooms. Whitworth Park has eight low-rise houses containing one to three-storey flats for groups of seven, eight or nine students. Whitworth Park is one of our largest halls and has around 1000 beds. Bedrooms are spacious and more affordable, and you'll share a kitchen, lounge and bathroom in each flat.
The accommodation available at The University of Manchester is one of the many advantages of studying here. We offer a greater number of places in university owned accommodation. There are more than 9,200 places available, almost all of which are within two or three miles of the university campus.
Flats at Weston Hall are made up of up to eight bedrooms and include a shared kitchen /lounge dining area. There are around 500 bedrooms available at Weston Hall. Most rooms come with a single bed as well as a desk and chair, under-bed storage, bedside table and wardrobe.
The University has a great variety of accommodation on offer, whether you want to be in the heart of campus or in the student suburb of Fallowfield. Accommodation is guaranteed to all first year students and the University aims to meet requirements of students and the variety of accommodation on offer reflects the aim.
