FINAL YEAR PROJECT. PROCEDURES. SELECTING A SUPERVISOR AND SUBMITTING YOUR FYP TITLE AND SYNOPSIS. New FYP 1 students who have registered for FYP via SMAP Online before the semester has begun will be required to select a supervisor via SMAP Online. Selection is on "first come first serve" basis.
Meet with your supervisor to discuss about your project. By the end of Week 2, you will need to submit your Project Title and Synopsis, which includes the Objectives, Scope of Study and Expected Results via the Online System.
Civil Engineering and Built Environment (FKAAB), each student is required to conduct a project-type course in the last academic year, i.e. the Final Year Project (FYP). FYP is typically implemented in two semesters; FYP 1 (TWO credits) and FYP 2 (FOUR credits).
