For rheumatoid arthritis the recommended dose is 90 mg once a day. For ankylosing spondylitis the recommended dose is 90 mg once a day.
As Arcoxia 90mg Tablet 10s (strip) inhibits prostaglandin synthesis, this may cause uterine inertia and premature closure of ductus arteriosus in the last trimester of pregnancy. The risk for humans remained unknown. It is best to avoid Arcoxia 90mg Tablet 10s (strip) during pregnancy if possible.

ARCOXIA may be taken with or without food. ARCOXIA should be administered for the shortest duration possible and the lowest effective daily dose should be used.
