Established in 2008 with the primary objective to provide; orphans and neglected boys with safety: food, clothing, education, skills training, and most importantly a place called my home and abundance of love.
Every week there are 791 active adult volunteers serve as leaders and friends to the Boys and Girls. The membership is organised into four (4) age group sections namely the Pre Junior Section (6-8 years), the Junior Section (9-12 years), the Senior Section (12-19 years) and the Primer Section (16-21 years).
The development of The Boys' Brigade in Malaysia took a revolutionary turn, when it invited girls to be members. It was first introduced in 1989 and was debated for a few years before experimental measures were approved in 1992.
Founded in 2009, the Girls Home serves abused, orphaned, and neglected girls from broken families. Similar to the Boys Home, it offers a safe and nurturing environment, education, and spiritual guidance, instilling confidence for a brighter future.
We are proud to recognize individuals in The Boys’ Brigade in Malaysia, who have earned The Duke of Edinburgh International Award. Their commitment reflects both personal growth and dedication to the program’s values.
Jul 20, 2015 · Some ten years later, Obedience was added to the Object of the Boys' Brigade. Manliness has also in some countries been replaced by the gender neutral 'character' since there are now girls who may also join The Brigade.
