Residence Halls. Housing Options. Residential Life in University Residences provides means for students to learn about themselves and acquire necessary life skills through involvement in a residential community.
Through a partnership with the Purdue Honors College, this residence hall integrates planned academic space to make on-campus living and learning a more seamless experience. The Honors College and Residences consists of two halls (North and South) and features "pod" style housing.
Student residence halls are within easy walking distance of Purdue's academic campus, and students may ride our local public bus service, CityBus, for free. The housing application is accessible via the student's online myPurdue portal about two days after accepting their offer of admission.
Windsor is the oldest all-female residence hall at Purdue, consisting of five individual buildings: Duhme, Shealy, Warren, Wood and Vawter. Tunnels, that are accessible to students, connect all of the five halls.
This residence hall features two distinct wings connected to central common areas. Each wing has eight floors with a resident assistant on each floor. Primarily standard doubles, each room comes with a bed, desk, desk light, towel bar and bulletin board for each resident.
