466,578 volunteers, including 120,673 under 16s. Responsibly collected and disposed of 2,302,862 kg of trash. As part of the Trash Hero Bottle program, 106,188 reusable bottles have been distributed, avoiding 38.8 million single-use plastic bottles and reducing 2,107 tonnes of CO2 emissions.

Jul 26, 2022 · Trash Hero uses community action (cleanups), led by volunteers, to bring diverse groups of people together and raise awareness about the problem of plastic. In parallel, we promote solutions to solve it (reducing waste). Our long-term goal is to build momentum for local zero waste projects and support a circular economy.
The Trash Hero mission is to bring communities together to clean and reduce waste. We do this through: Action and Awareness. We pick up trash. Whether a cigarette butt on the sand, or 2000 km from an island beach – if we see it, we clean it! And we motivate others to do the same.
