Mar 15, 2022 · These are some of the matters of the unseen of which the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) spoke and they have come to pass. Among the major signs of which he spoke are: the Dajjal, who will emerge at the end of time; and the Beast, which will also emerge at the end of time.
The Prophet said, "The keys of the unseen are five and none knows them but Allah: (1) None knows what is in the womb, but Allah: (2) None knows what will happen tomorrow, but Allah; (3) None knows when it will rain, but Allah; (4) None knows where he will die, but Allah (knows that); (5) and none knows when the Hour will be established, but Allah."
Anything that is hidden or concealed from us - whether this is something physical which is discernable by the senses or something that is Divine, however it has been clothed with the physical (world) and is far from being discernable by our senses - is referred to as being of the hidden (غيب).
The Ghaib (all that is hidden, unseen or unknown) in its comprehensive essence is divided into two: a relative unseen world and an absolute unseen world. The absolute Unseen is only possessed by Allah, and has not yet emerged to perform its duty in life, for everything in this universe is assigned a duty and has a beginning and an end.
Jun 13, 2023 · Belief in the unseen includes belief in everything that Allah and His messengers have told us about unseen matters in the past and in the future, events of the hereafter and the reality of the divine attributes and their essence.
Here, Qadhi Iyad makes it clear that the knowledge of the unseen matters which were given to him by Allah, would be counted as ‘Mujizaat’ (miracles). In other words, they cannot be called ‘Ilmul Ghaib’ (Knowledge of the Unseen).
The Unseen is anything that is kept hidden from us, for the seen is no longer unknown! This means that what the eyes behold is not considered unseen, but it simply has to be away from our perception. Thus, that which is witnessed does not fall under the hidden or the unknown.

Jun 3, 2012 · The truthful, righteous Muslim (al-muslim al-sadiq al-salih) is he whose state matches that of Prophets and thereby is bestowed (ukrima) some of the same kind of gift they were, and that is to behold the unseen (wa huwa al-ittila` `ala al-ghayb).
