The building was officially opened on Wednesday 4th March 1964 costing £9,000 to build as a youth centre. In 1973 further work on an extension was completed for it to become a youth and community centre. The building was named after the then Youth Officer for Coventry Mr Eric Hagard, the name was chosen by young members of the centre.

Eureka Nursery is a full day care setting in the heart of Willenhall, we are based in the Willenhall Education, Employment and Training centre.
