I'll have to give as much credit to the cast, direction, cinematography and musical score for what made this film all that worthwhile. Besides, the three hour running time goes by quickly because the film is briskly paced and full of engaging incidents. Also, the depth of the story allows to us to really get into the minds of the characters, which is a rare thing indeed in a horror film, since usually the characters are hilariously shallow.

A fair good French comedy. Not very good, not very bad. The main actress is gorgeous and you don't believe a single minute she is 38, but the difference gap works well in the movie. I would recommend it for a cold night. If you don't have a lot of expectations, c'est marrant (you'll have fun!)
This is not a rose tinted look at the wonderful life we have, this is a dark, downtrodden start to a film where the lead character is about to commit suicide. However, it is a beautiful film, and is one of the few that you can watch again and again and walk away with the same glowing feeling as you did when you first watched it.

Overall, it was neither a good nor a bad horror movie. All blame goes to a bland-outdated story which weak execution. If you want to give it a try, you can but don't keep expectations.
