Thankfully WB found the missing footage, cut to make it fit a double bill with The Sea Hawk back in the 1940's. Polito's cinematography is a standout, both on land and sea, and the cast is perfect. Robinson is the megalomaniacal Captain Wolf Larson, a fascist in everything but name, who creates his own world to rule on his ship, The Ghost.
