Entities are the main roadblocks that players must face in order to advance. They all differ in mechanics and difficulty, along with some being encountered more rarely than others. Certain audio cues or visual imagery can warn you before an entity spawns in.
For scrapped/removed items, see Removed Content. Items can be bought at the start of each run and can occasionally be found in drawers. They offer small or drastic advantages to the user, such as making dark rooms easier to go through or getting rid of an entity temporarily. They do not save the next time you play and can only be used in the run you bought/found them.
Seek is a major hostile entity in DOORS, and the secondary main antagonist of the Hotel. Players will usually encounter it twice per run, with said encounters taking place before and after The Library. The Doors began with a chance meeting between acquaintances Jim Morrison and Ray Manzarek on Venice Beach in July 1965.
