Yep, the Kedah royal lineage is definitely the oldest. If the Kedah Annals (Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa) is correct (which a lot of historians do agree contains a lot of factual text) it started with Merong Mahawangsa who established the Langkasuka Kingdom in the 2nd century and like you said was said to be a descendant of Alexander the Great.
