After over three decades of providing certification, inspection and testing services under SIRIM Berhad, SIRIM QAS International was established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the SIRIM Group in March 1997.

She was then appointed as the Head of Electrical and Electronic Section, SIRIM QAS International Sdn. Bhd. (January 2007-December 2008) where she was responsible in planning and implementing the upgrading of testing facilities to cater for new technological trends and new test specifications.
