May 14, 2023 · A Portrait Of Mrinal Sen. Sen gave me a book on the filmmaker Wim Wenders’ documentary on Nicholas Ray called Lightning Over Water. I read it. Managed to get a VHS and saw the great yet extremely cruel film about Nicholas Ray’s last stages of life. I told Mrinal Sen that it’s the wrong reference.
