Peter Maverick Lepeniotis (born December 3, 1965) is a Canadian–American animator, film director, storyboard artist, screenwriter, and producer of Greek descent. He directed the computer animated comedy The Nut Job. He will serve once again as co-writer of the sequel, while Cal Brunker will take his place as director for The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature.
