Project Power, Extraction, and Bright have scene after scene that don't build up to much, and once you get to the climax, there's no payoff because A) there was such little buildup, and B) the payoff itself isn't rewarding. ... It even failed as a superpower movie because the powers were either stupid or almost unusable.
