A mystery thriller in the Feluda series created by Satyajit Ray, this story is based on a plot involving a 'royalty ring' weaving in historical fiction, murder, pilferage and threats against the backdrop of royal Lucknow.
Badshahi Angti. Feluda and Topshe visit Lucknow and stay with Topshe`s father`s childhood friend, Dhiren. But their vacation takes a thrilling turn when a robbery is attempted of a priceless ring that was supposedly worn by Emperor Aurangzeb.
The film has mostly been shot in real locations. Bengalis are known to love food and traveling to new places both of which are highlighted very beautifully in 'Badshahi Angti'. Historical background of the various locations in Lucknow and Rishikesh are well infused into the narrative.
