The application deadline for a Preparatory School place in Year 3 2024 is now closed. Families are invited to register for our Prep School for 2025 and beyond via our online admissions portal OpenApply. If you'd like further information, please call us on 01277 243 291. The children will be tested in Maths, English and reasoning (NVR).

The School benefits hugely from our boarders’ rich mixture of backgrounds – we are a truly international community. Mill Hill and Hough House are our girls’ and boys’ boarding houses. They are set within Brentwood School’s site close to the town and some 40 minutes from central London.
Brentwood History. In 1557 Sir Antony Browne, the Lord Chief Justice, acquired the land on which Brentwood School was first built. During Mary Tudor's reign, hundreds of Protestants were burned at the stake and a well-known Brentwood Protestant, William Hunter, was ordered by Sir Antony Browne to be executed.
