The workaround is to download the AMC+ app (not the normal AMC app) through the Amazon fire stick search option. I'm using my laptop, with Windows 10 and Google Chrome. According to the content itself, the maximum resolution available is 1152x648, around 720p.

Oct 13, 2021 · ADMIN MOD. I’m not crazy - there are definitely ads shown on this “ad-free” platform. So I started a trial for AMC+ through Amazon Prime. Seemed like a good deal, plus it includes Shudder and IFC. Great! Chose The Shining as my first watch. And the movie was interrupted four times by commercials for other AMC content.

I dislike this shitty anti-consumer refund policies, bit corps get away with it for no damn good reason. We live with our phones. I always put end dates of subscriptions in iPhone calendar.
All of the content from Shudder is accessible on AMC+ though. With AMC+ you also get access to live feeds of the regular AMC channel as well as IFC and BBC America and a Walking Dead Channel. For me it’s worth it because you have all the Shudder content as well as content from AMC which I watch semi regularly. Reply reply.
