Feb 3, 2019 · As far as [name_f]Clara[/name_f], I do still like it, just trying to see if there are any I love more. Nice to hear that you don’t find the sound to be harsh though! I know some of my hesitation comes from the fact that a couple family members don’t care for it. I asked them to be honest so no hard feelings there, I’m sure that’s influencing my second guessing though.

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] is a little too close and somehow doesn’t stand up to [name_f]Clara[/name_f] for me, and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] is a fab name for under teens but peaks then - in other words, I don’t think it has the staying power if your other names.
Nov 23, 2018 · My Mother’s name is [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. While, yes, I do adore my mother and wish to name my child after her, I have never been a huge fan of the name. I would like to use the name (or a variation of such) as a middle name. Does anyone have any first names to complement this middle name, or otherwise a variation of such. We lean toward [name]Clara[/name] because it feels a bit rarer, and also my wife thinks it’s a bit more “petite” though we can’t explain why we think that. Apr 9, 2022 · I think I personally prefer [name_f]Eloise [/name_f] but [name_f]Lilia [/name_f] and [name_f]Clara [/name_f] are just too perfect together. Both names are gorgeous, but as you know I have a soft spot for Clara. I also think that Lilia and Clara have such a nice flow together! Eloise would be a good choice too however.
