Here at Emanuel, we welcome applications from young people who want to work hard, throw themselves into the opportunities of school life and become responsible members of their communities.
Students entering Emanuel at 16+ join the sixth form – the final two years of a young person’s compulsory education in the UK. We welcome approximately 30 bright and ambitious young people into our sixth form from other schools each year.

This school travel policy explains how we will be encouraging active travel. We discuss this policy with the pupils and re-visit it periodically to ensure its relevance. After leaving Emanuel, Temi studied Neuroscience at King’s College, London and was later awarded an MA in Creative Writing at Edinburgh University. What are your best memories of Emanuel? I met three of my best friends at Emanuel and I’m very glad that we’re still in each other’s lives.
The new facilities give us a home ground for girls’ hockey and, along with our outstanding facilities at school and in Barnes (boat house), demonstrate our commitment to sports, wellbeing and fitness for our pupils and the wider community.
