This structure is sometimes used when the text describing the object (i.e. what you want to share) is very long, because the normal structure would then place "share" and "with you" too far apart. Six people share a cake by splitting it into 6 pieces and giving each person 1 piece. In this example, the thing being shared is information. That means all the people get all the information. The information is not split up.

However, in this case where you are describing the way the situation always necessarily is, rather than the way it is at the moment, the simple form of the verb is preferable. We're sharing a dessert (at the moment). We always share a dessert.
