I'm pretty sure New Mutants predates LoL by like 30 years but fire powers and fear powers are pretty low-hanging fruit, powers wise. I'm sure you could draw parallels to another 30 characters in other media.
Apr 14, 2021 · Yes, I’m aware of the whitewashing of Sunspot. But when it comes to the movie itself, I don’t get what’s so bad about it. There are a lot of things that aren’t great, but nothing that makes it horrible. I feel like all the delays and bad press tainted people’s views on the movie, and so they came in wanting to dislike it.

Feb 7, 2022 · New Mutants Omnibus Volume 2 Overview! Pretty stoked about this one finally coming out after multiple delays considering it was solicited last March. I pre ordered the Windsor-Smith standard cover, honestly was a coin flip for me, but after seeing the spine for the DM cover with Magik, I kind of wish I went with that instead.
Due to this cut winning an internet Poll, I’ve decided to share this edit first. When the first trailer for this movie was aired it seemed to depict a more Thriller genre type of vibe. They seemed to not include some of the best trailer scenes and the over all tone of the theatrical release was a lot more diluted.
