It’s actually pretty hard to find places in Canberra, even Australia in general. They pretty quickly repurpose stuff or at very least heavily fence it off like the old Williamsdale servo. You see in the US there is abandoned stuff everywhere. I am into photography and have looked for similar things and found it pretty difficult.
This old house has been here for decades, abandoned long ago and just left to the elements, there were still beds in the rooms, an old television, a clock on the wall and dishes in the kitchen sink and cupboard. The remaining furniture was torn and shredded from the many years of animals using it for nests and the floors were littered with raccoon poop!
Apr 26, 2021 · There's an abandoned barn and manor off Ty Draw Road. Rupera Castle is pretty cool if you hike from the Cefn Mably side. Abandon radio tower on the top of Wenalt Hill, I've heard some dodgy stories about that one though.

Mar 2, 2018 · I dont know the stories but Abandoned places include house on top of hill along Jalan Tutong (towards BSB)near the Kilanas junction, theres one behind Hadfa garden along Jalan Estet Gadong, there’s one in Jalan Muara near The roundabout in Kapok/Muara/Meragang junction and also the electric dept office counter along jalan batu besurat.

They were built in the early 20th century and almost completed when the provincial government changed and the whole project was scrapped.
