The tech teams on our other titles are working on pathing that will also allow for name changes to be purchased using VALORANT Points, Wild Rift Cores, and TFT Coins in the future.

So i want to change my Game Name (Riot ID) on the official Website account.riotgames.com, but no matter what i submit, it always tells me " That Riot ID is unavailable. " Even if i want to submit random garbage like "1238dsdalj23". Has anyone else experienced something like that?
Apr 9, 2021 · According to Riot Games support: Riot IDs will be your in-game name (i.e. the one that everyone can see) in games like Legends of Runeterra, Project A, and Wild Rift, as well as future titles coming to Riot Games (and you!) Unlike your Riot Account username, these do show up-in game. Think of a Riot ID as the Summoner Name...of the future!

I think this is a must-have feature at this point because right now we're unable to check the availability of a desired riot ID and we have to take a leap of faith when changing it. Dec 5, 2023 · ADMIN MOD. Riot's new ID policy has blessed the KR server with over 8000 Hide on bushes. I was curious how popular Faker's igns would be, and the silly results are as follows: 8303 Hide on bush (was 8301 a few minutes ago) 1409 Faker. 1856 T1 Faker. 513 SKT T1 Faker. 4 SKT T1 K Faker.
Reworking the Riot ID Transition Plan. TLDR: Much better, although should just keep it the same as before. Much better now. I always wanted LoL to use Riot IDs because paying 13900 EA to change your nick sucks, but in their initial plan the Riot ID would be paid too, so what was the point?
