I have just finished reading Straw Dogs by John Gray. A very scattershot book that covers many topics, and seems more the result of the author's need to tell the world what he thinks: namely, that we are all straw dogs. The term refers to a concept found in Taoism, set forth in the "Tao Te Ching."
