1 day ago · 燕山大学 ，简称 燕大 [1] ，是一所位于中国 河北省 秦皇岛市 的大学，可以溯源至1920年建校的哈尔滨中俄工业学校（今 哈尔滨工业大学 ）。 1958年，哈尔滨工业大学重型机械系及相关专业成建制迁至工业重镇 齐齐哈尔市 富拉尔基区 ，组建了 哈尔滨工业大学重型机械学院 。 1960年，开始独立办学，定名 东北重型机械学院 ，成为原机械工业部直属高校。 1978年，学校被国务院确定为88所全国重点高等院校之一。 1984年，河北省秦皇岛市被确定为 沿海开放城市 后，东北重型机械学院选址在此建设秦皇岛分校，逐渐形成南、北两校两地办学的格局。 1997年9月，学校整体南迁至河北省秦皇岛市。 1997年1月，经原 国家教委 批准，更名为 燕山大学 并沿用至今。
