NY style is hand stretched, but they use the dough ball typically used for a smaller pizza(so a medium NY style uses the same amount of dough as a small hand tossed). It is thin but a bit closer to hand tossed and not really crunchy. It is cut for 6 slices. Neither get the garlic oil on the crust.
Only real difference is the Brooklyn was a small dough patty stretched into a large, while a New York is a medium dough patty stretched into a large. The New York crust is slightly thicker, butnstill thinner than a handtossed pizza.
