Kalki 2898 AD (pronounced) is a 2024 Indian Telugu-language epic science fiction film directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. The film stars an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. Inspired by Hindu scriptures, it is the first installment in a planned Kalki Cinematic Universe.

The Srimad-Bhagavatam (12.2.19-20) describes Lord Kalki's activities as follows: "Lord Kalki, the Lord of the universe, will mount His swift white horse Devadatta and, sword in hand, travel over the earth exhibiting His eight mystic opulences and eight special qualities of Godhead.
Kalki is an avatara of Vishnu. Avatar means "descent", and refers to a descent of the divine into the material realm of human existence. The Garuda Purana lists ten incarnations, with Kalki being the final one. [16] He is described as the incarnation who appears at the end of the Kali Yuga.
