Joaquín Pardavé ( b. 30 September 1900; d. 20 July 1955), Mexican film and stage actor, director, and songwriter. Born in Penjamo, Guanajuato, of theatrical parents, from an early age Pardavé displayed a natural talent, composing popular songs and acting in his uncle's theater company.
He was a popular stage actor and appeared in several silent films and some early sound features, but achieved his greatest fame in the early 1940s in films like México de mis recuerdos (1944) and El baisano Jalil (1942) (which was also the first picture he directed).
