Roy Skeggs (April 1934 – 29 December 2018) was a British film and television producer. He worked for Hammer Films and is credited, along with Brian Lawrence, for revitalising the company following receivership in 1979.
Roy Skeggs was born in April 1934 in Barnet, Middlesex, England, UK. He was a producer and production manager, known for Fox Mystery Theater (1984), The Best of Benny Hill (1974) and Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell (1974). He was married to Linda Nettleton. He died on December 29, 2018.
Dec 31, 2018 · VERY SAD TO HEAR ROY SKEGGS, one of the very few left of the Hammer films 'home guard' sadly passed away on the weekend. Roy was a producer for Hammer Films and began his connection with the company way back at Bray studios in 1963 as production accountant.
