Rowan Marc Joffé (born 1973) is a British screenwriter and director. He is the son of director Roland Joffé and actress Jane Lapotaire, and half-brother of actress Nathalie Lunghi. Joffé began writing plays in university and was eventually awarded a Cameron Mackintosh bursary.

Rowan Joffe is an award winning writer and director, whose directorial debut, Secret Life, was hailed as ‘a masterpiece’ by critics at both The Times and The Guardian newspapers. His second directing project, The Shooting of Thomas Hurndall, won Rowan a BAFTA Award for Best Fiction Director 2009.
