Jason Hewitt was born in Oxford and lives in London. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and English and an MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University. After completing his degree he spent a number of years working in a bookshop in Oxford before moving into the publishing industry.
The Dynamite Room is a historical thriller set in 1940 England, where a young girl is held hostage by a Nazi officer in her own house. The novel explores the bonds of humanity in the face of war and was optioned for a film adaptation by Jamie Bell.
