The Wolfgang Längsfeld Award is presented in memory of the founder of FILMSCHOOLFEST MUNICH. In 2021, this will be the 10th time. To mark the occasion, all previous winning films will be screened again in a special on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 3 p.m. But this year's winner will be announced at the Award Ceremony.

Since 2012, the Freundeskreis Wolfgang Längsfeld e.V. has awarded their prize at FILMSCHOOLFEST MUNICH. In memory of Längsfeld, who founded the Munich student filmfestival in 1980, an independent three-member jury looks for the most unique film in the international program each year.
