The curriculum is designed to balance education and entertainment. Children enrolling in Space Camp can choose from one of three "tracks" of activities and study: space, aviation, and robotics. Space Camp was the first of the camp programs offered, and is used as the umbrella organization name.
Space Camp operates year-round in Huntsville, Alabama, and uses astronaut training techniques to engage students in real-world applications of STEM subjects.
Space Camp is a one-of-a-kind experience at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, the Official Visitor Center for NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. Each year, trainees of all ages travel from across the United States and more than 70 countries to participate in our programs.
