Set in mid-'90s Belgrade, still a warzone in many ways, Cabaret Balkan consists of a loosely connected series of vignettes (think La Ronde or Pulp Fiction), nightmarish in nature, featuring about a dozen or so mostly beleaguered citizens trying to survive (or not) a brutal and brutally cold night.
