Karin Chien has produced seven feature-length films, including The Exploding Girl (2009), The Motel (2005), and Robot Stories (2002). Her films have won over 60 film festival awards, premiered at the Sundance and Berlin Film Festivals, and secured international distribution.
Karin Chien is an independent film producer based in New York City. Ms. Chien is currently co-producing The Motel (winner of the NHK Screenplay Award at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival) with producers Miguel Arteta and Matthew Greensfield (and Chuck & Buck).
