  7. Apr 1, 2009 · In order to show the importance of odour intensity for saltiness perception, we performed a two-ways ANOVA (judge, aroma solution) on odour intensity. The results indicated a significant effect of judge ( F (58,486) = 2.5; p < 0.0001) and aroma solutions ( F (15,486) = 45.3; p < 0.0001).
