Linda Gaboriau (née Johnson) is a Canadian dramaturg and literary translator who has translated some 125 plays and novels by Quebec writers, including many of the Quebec plays best known to English-speaking audiences.

Linda Gaboriau is an award-winning literary translator based in Montreal. Her translations of plays by Quebec’s most prominent playwrights have been published and produced across Canada and abroad. In her work as a literary manager and dramaturge, she has directed numerous translation residencies and international exchange projects.
Linda Gaboriau has been active in Canadian and Quebec theatre as a consultant, dramaturg and translator. She has translated some 60 plays, including the works of some of Quebec’s most prominent playwrights: Rene-Daniel Dubois, Michel Marc Bouchard, Normand Chaurette, Daniel Danis, and Michel Tremblay.
