David Dudley Moore (born August 21, 1952) is an American molecular biologist known for his work investigating nuclear hormone receptors. He is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Nutritional Sciences & Toxicology at the University of California, Berkeley.
Dr. Moore’s early studies on nuclear receptor molecular biology and gene regulation have expanded to encompass the roles of nuclear receptors in a variety of mouse models of human disease. We have a particular focus on the roles of diverse nuclear receptors in normal and diseased liver and gut.
