Dr. Gupta is an Associate Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Indiana University School of Medicine. Her research has discovered a new family of innate immunity proteins and identified their role in the regulation of microbiome, host-bacterial interactions, and development of inflammatory disease, including obesity and colitis.
