Windstruck (Nae yeojachingureul sogae habnida) is more of the same thing. Watching the first half of this is a two-hour movie, one couldn't help but wonder what Kwak has stooped to, with the run-of-the-mill police sequences, banal comedy and not-too-inspiring romance.

With the scope for drama increased, ‘Windstruck’ becomes an appropriate platform for the thespian skills of its leading lady.

Windstruck starts out as a good-hearted Korean comedy with some typical over the humour and then goes on to warm your heart, break it, make you sob like a little puppy and turn that into tears of joy.
