Aug 18, 1998 · Marc Akerstream, 44, was hit by a piece of flying debris caused by a controlled explosion on a rowboat at Minaty Bay in 1998. He was a bystander and not involved in the explosion itself. The series "The Crow: Stairway to Heaven" was not delayed by the accident.
