Sam Jamie Bird (born 9 January 1987) is a British professional racing driver who is currently driving for NEOM McLaren in Formula E. He won the LMP2 title at the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship, and was runner-up at the 2013 GP2 Series and the LMGTE Pro class at the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship.
Sam Bird joins the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team for the 2023/24 season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. Sam brings with him a wealth of motorsport experience. He began his single seater racing career in Formula BMW in 2004, coming runner up in the series in 2005.
