Harrisongs Ltd is a publishing company formed by George Harrison in 1964. It was originally Monyork Ltd but changed to Harrisongs soon after. His first compositions were published by Northern Songs, but Beatles John Lennon and Paul McCartney got most of the money from them.
Oct 30, 2012 · On 11 September 1964, George Harrison bought a shelf company, Mornyork Ltd, which was renamed Harrisongs Ltd on this day. At the time Harrison and Starr were both under contract to Northern Songs as a songwriter, and it wasn’t until the contract expired in March 1968 that Harrisongs became active.
