NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) is a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) of the Government of India and under Department of Space. NSIL is responsible for producing, assembling and integrating the launch vehicle with the help of industry consortium.
NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), incorporated on 6 March 2019 (under the Companies Act, 2013) is a wholly owned Government of India company, under the administrative control of Department of Space (DOS).
In order to commercially exploit the products and services emanating from Indian Space Programme the "NewSpace India Limited" has been incorporated in March 2019, as a wholly owned Government Company under administrative control of Department of Space.
NSIL is a government company under Department of Space and the commercial arm of ISRO. It offers space based solutions, launch services, satellite data and products, and maritime asset monitoring.
