It has officially taken over the operations of Toll Concession from MTD Prime Sdn Bhd and Metramac Corporation Sdn Bhd who respectively owned the concessions for Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway (KLK), East Coast Expressway Phase 1 (ECE1); and KL-Seremban Expressway (KLS) with effect from 6 December 2011.
ANIH Berhad is the second largest Highway Concessionarie (by distance of highways operated) in Malaysia after PLUS Expressways. ANIH Berhad is a member company of MTD Group.
KUALA LUMPUR (May 29): Tan Sri Azmil Khalili Khalid is set to take over Anih Bhd, which operates the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway and the East Coast Highway Phase 1 (LPT1).
Apr 28, 2023 · Anih Bhd signed a supplemental agreement with the government to prolong its toll concession on KL-Karak and ECE1 for 37 years. The rating agency affirmed its AAIS rating on Anih's RM2.5 billion sukuk programme, but expects a new financing structure to address the outstanding RM1.48 billion.
ANIH is the concessionaire of KL-Karak and ECE1 until 2032. MARC rated its RM2.5 billion sukuk programme with a stable outlook, despite the COVID-19 impact on traffic and revenue.
