Orlando (/ ɔːr ˈ l æ n d oʊ / or-LAN-doh) is a city in, and the county seat of, Orange County, Florida, United States. Part of Central Florida , it is the center of the Orlando metropolitan area , which had a population of 2,509,831 in 2017, according to the U.S. Census Bureau .
