En yuppie-kæde i København får nyttig med at besøge sin fader og bror på Lolland, da han dør. Filmen er en Dogme-film med Anders W. Berthelsen, Iben Hjejle og Sofie Gråbøl.
Kresten skal til Lolland for at besøge sin døde fars gård og møde sin bror Rud, som er en nedrakken alkoholiker. Filmen vandt en Bodil for Jesper Asholt og har været vist mange gange på TV.
Feb 25, 2000 · Mifunes Sidste Sang is the third feature produced according to the Dogma 95 manifesto, ten strict rules drawn up by the Danish directors Lars von Trier and Thomas Vinterberg. The title of the film refers to the late Japanese actor Toshiro Mifune, who played a bogus samurai of peasant origins in Akira Kurosawa's Shichinin no Samurai/ Seven Samurai.
