Wong Ka Kui (Chinese: 黃家駒; Jyutping: Wong4 Gaa1-keoi1; 10 June 1962 – 30 June 1993) was a Hong Kong musician, singer and songwriter and the leader and co-founder of the rock band Beyond, where he was the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and primary songwriter.
May 20, 2024 · It was reported yesterday (May 19) that the grave of Wong Ka Kui, the late lead singer of iconic Hong Kong rock band Beyond, was defiled by two men. The rock icon died at the age of 31 after falling off a stage while filming a variety show in Tokyo. His grave is located at the Junk Bay Chinese Permanent Cemetery in Hong Kong's Tiu Keng Leng.

Jul 1, 2021 · Beyond was formed in 1983 and was made up of lead vocalist Wong Ka Kui, his brother bassist Wong Ka Keung, guitarist Paul Wong and drummer Yip Sai Wing. Sadly, at the height of the band's popularity, on June 30 1993, Ka Kui died after falling from a 3m-high stage during the filming of a variety show in Tokyo.
